Brandon Newey
Brandon Newey (born August 18, 1992) is an American racing driver. He was classified second in the 2012 F1600 Championship Series season. In 2014 he is competing in the Pro Mazda Championship. Karting Brandon started his career in karts at New Castle Motorsports Park where he raced in various regional and track championships. He made also three appearances at the RoboPong 200 endurance karting race. Fourth was his best result when he partnered up with Josef Newgarden. Brandon also raced in selected WKA Manufacturer's Cup events. Formula racing Brandon Newey made his competitive debut in formula cars in the Skip Barber National Championship in 2010. His best results were two fifth-place finishes at Virginia Motorsports Park and Road Atlanta. He eventually finished eighth in the championship. He also raced in the Skip Barber Summer Series. Trent Hindman (born September 20, 1995 in West Long Branch, New Jersey) is an American racing driver. Hindman won the 2014 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge in the GS class. He also was selected by BMW Motorsport for their junior program in 2015. Career Karting Hindman started karting at eight years old at his local kart track Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. In 2004, Hindman competed in the Junior Sportsman category at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. The young driver won the category in 2006 at the local track and also the New Jersey state championship. In the same year Hindman also made his debut in the World Karting Association. Barber Motorsports Park is an multi-purpose racing facility located in Birmingham, Alabama. It was built by George W. Barber, and includes the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum. An afterburner (or reheat in British English) is an additional combustion component used on some jet engines, mostly those on military supersonic aircraft. Its purpose is to increase thrust, usually for supersonic flight, takeoff, and combat. The afterburning process injects additional fuel into a combustor in the jet pipe behind (''i.e.'', "after") the turbine, "reheating" the exhaust gas. Afterburning significantly increases thrust as an alternative to using a bigger engine with its attendant weight penalty, but at the cost of increased fuel consumption (decreased fuel efficiency) which limits its use to short periods. Matias Köykkä (born November 23, 1994) is a Finnish racing driver. He won the 2012 F1600 Championship Series. Karting career Matias started karting when he was 8 years old in the Finnish 'Raket' class. His father entered him in races until 2009. For 2009 Matias signed with the CRG factory team. He won the Finnish championship in the KF3 class. For 2010 he stepped up to the KF2 class and also competed in the CIK-FIA Under 18 World Championship.
