Brandon Ellis
Brandon Ellis (born 3 August 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer currently playing for the Gold Coast Suns in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played 176 matches over eight seasons at , including in the 2017 and 2019 premierships. Early life and junior football Ellis was raised in the inner-suburb of Carlton North, four kilometres north of Melbourne. He first played football in the Auskick program in Brunswick at the age of four. At age seven he began playing with the under 10s side at West Coburg where he won the best and fairest award despite being many years younger than most of his teammates. Ellis quit football temporarily in year 10 in the aftermath of his father's terminal cancer diagnoses. He later played representative football with the Calder Cannons in the TAC Cup where he played 29 games across his bottom and top aged seasons. Calder Cannons
The Calder Cannons is an Australian rules football club from Melbourne, Australia. The club competes in the NAB League, the Victorian Statewide Under-18s competition, and fields squads in the Under-15s, Under-16s and Under-18s. The club was formed in 1995 after the need for two more metropolitan clubs. The geographic catchment area for the club is the north western suburbs of Melbourne extending to cover the Macedon Ranges area. Australian Football League
The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Kane Lambert
Kane Lambert (born 26 November 1991) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He went undrafted after a junior career with the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup, before a four-year stint at state-league level that included being named in the VFL's team of the year and receiving the league's most improved player award in 2013. Lambert was drafted to Richmond in the 2015 rookie draft and made his debut for the club in round 1 of the 2015 season. The All-Australian team is an all-star team of Australian rules football in Australia, Australian rules footballers, selected by a panel at the end of each season. The 22 Under 22 team (stylised as 22under22) is an honorary representative Australian rules football team created by the AFL Players' Association that seeks to recognise the best young talent in the Australian Football League (AFL) and AFL Women's (AFLW) competitions each year. To be eligible for selection, players must be aged 22 or under for the entire season (including finals). An initial squad of 40 is selected by the AFL Players' Board, before fans select a final team of 22 by voting via social media.
