Brande Railway Station
Brande station is a railway station serving the railway town of Brande in Central Jutland, Denmark. Brande station is located on the Vejle-Holstebro railway line. The station opened in 1914 with the opening of the Give-Herning section of the Vejle-Holstebro Line. The station building was designed by the Danish architect Heinrich Wenck. The stations offers direct InterCityLyn services to Copenhagen and Struer operated by the railway company DSB as well as regional train services to Vejle, Herning and Struer operated by Arriva. Ikast-Brande Municipality
Ikast-Brande is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Midtjylland in Denmark. It covers an area of 733.69 km2 and has a population of 41,885 (1 January 2022). On 1 January 2007 Ikast-Brande municipality was created as the result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), consisting of the former municipalities of Brande, Ikast Ikast is a Danish town in the Mid Jutland Region (''Midtjylland''). Brande Municipality
Until 1 January 2007, Brande municipality was a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Ringkøbing on the Jutland peninsula in west Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 188 km2, and had a total population of 8,822 (2005). Its last mayor was Preben Christensen. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Brande. The municipality was created in 1970 as the result of a ("Municipality Reform") that Blåhøj and Brande parishes. Brande municipality ceased to exist as the result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Ikast and Nørre-Snede municipalities to form the new Ikast-Brande municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 768 km2 and a total population of 39,371 (2005). Central Denmark Region
The Central Denmark Region ( da, Region Midtjylland), or more directly translated as the Central Jutland Region and sometimes simply Mid Jutland, is an administrative region of Denmark established on 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish municipal reform. The reform abolished the traditional counties (''amter'') and replaced them with five new administrative regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the total number of municipalities from 271 to 98. The reform diminished the power of the regional level dramatically in favour of the local level and the national government in Copenhagen. The Central Denmark Region comprises 19 municipalities. Rasmus Nissen Kristensen (; born 11 July 1997) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for club Leeds United and the Denmark national team. Youth career Kristensen was born to a footballing family and began playing football in Brande IF when he was six years old. He played in the club for six years, before joining Herning Fremad where he played for two years. In 2012, Kristensen signed a youth contract with FC Midtjylland.
