Brady Peak
Brady Peak is an -elevation summit located in the Grand Canyon, in Coconino County, Arizona, Coconino County of northern Arizona, Southwestern United States, United States. It is situated northeast of the Vista Encantada viewpoint on the canyon's North Rim, where it towers above the bottom of Nankoweap Canyon. Its nearest higher neighbor is Mount Hayden (Arizona), Mount Hayden, to the north, Kibbey Butte is one mile to northwest, and Alsap Butte lies one mile to the northeast. Brady Peak is named after Peter Rainsford Brady (1825–1902), a pioneer and politician of the Arizona Territory. This geographical feature's name was officially adopted in 1932 by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names. According to the Köppen climate classification system, Brady Peak is located in a cold semi-arid climate zone. Mount Hayden (Arizona)
Mount Hayden is an -elevation summit located in the Grand Canyon, in Coconino County, Arizona, Coconino County of Arizona, Southwestern United States, United States. It is situated southeast of the Point Imperial viewpoint (eastern Walhalla Plateau), on the canyon's North Rim, where it towers above the bottom of Nankoweap Canyon. Mount Hayden, also known as Hayden Peak, is named for Charles T. Hayden (1825–1900), an Arizona pioneer influential in the development of the Arizona Territory where he was known as the "Father of Tempe, Arizona, Tempe", and he established Arizona State University. He was also the father of United States Senate, US Senator Carl Hayden, as well as a Probate court, probate judge. This geographical feature's name was officially adopted in 1932 by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names. Köppen Climate Classification
The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. It was first published by German-Russian climatologist Wladimir Köppen (1846–1940) in 1884, with several later modifications by Köppen, notably in 1918 and 1936. Later, the climatologist Rudolf Geiger (1894–1981) introduced some changes to the classification system, which is thus sometimes called the Köppen–Geiger climate classification system. The Köppen climate classification divides climates into five main climate groups, with each group being divided based on seasonal precipitation and temperature patterns. Saddle Mountain (Grand Canyon) is an 8,424-foot-elevation summit located in the eastern Grand Canyon, in Coconino County of northern Arizona, United States. It is the highest peak within Grand Canyon National Park and it forms a portion of the northeast border of the park. Point Imperial, the last viewpoint north, on the Walhalla Plateau, is ~2.0 southwest. Saddle Mountain contains the Saddle Mountain Wilderness, and the Saddle Mountain Wilderness Trail. Tritle Peak
Tritle Peak is an prominence adjacent Roosevelt Point, on the East Rim of the Walhalla Plateau (East Kaibab Plateau). It is located in far eastern Grand Canyon, of Northern Arizona. The peak is only about northeast of Roosevelt Point on an eroded ridgeline, and it is a very short caprock remainder of Coconino Sandstone cliffs upon Hermit Formation, Hermit Shale slopes. The entire ridge is a bright dark-burnt-red from the Hermit Shale, and sits on a ridgeline-platform of Supai Group unit 4, the Esplanade Sandstone. Tritle Peak is at the headwaters of two major drainages east to the south-flowing Colorado River, next to the East Rim, Grand Canyon – Upper Nankoweap Creek drainage (north), and Upper Kwagunt Creek drainage (south).
