Bradley Dean (golfer)
Bradley Dean (born June 18, 1970) is an American stage and screen actor. Early life Dean is originally from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. Career Theatre Broadway theatre Dean made his Broadway debut as a swing in '' Jane Eyre'' in 2000. Additional Broadway credits include ''Man of La Mancha'', ''Company'', and ''The Story of My Life''. On March 25, 2008, Dean succeeded Christopher Sieber in the role of Sir Galahad in the musical comedy '' Spamalot'' on Broadway. From December 2009 until January 2011, Dean starred in the revival of '' A Little Night Music'', first as Frid, and then later as Count Carl-Magnus opposite Bernadette Peters. Dean has also had roles in the Broadway productions of the 2012 ''Evita'' revival, Sting's '' The Last Ship'', and ''Doctor Zhivago'', where he stepped in as the lead for several performances during previews while principal lead Tam Mutu was ill. ''Camelot'' is a 1960 musical by Alan Jay Lerner (book and lyrics) and Frederick Loewe (music). It is based on the King Arthur legend as adapted from T. H. White's 1958 novel ''The Once and Future King''. The original production, directed by Moss Hart with orchestrations by Robert Russell Bennett and Philip J. Lang, ran on Broadway for 873 performances, winning four Tony Awards. It starred Richard Burton as Arthur, Julie Andrews as Guinevere, and Robert Goulet as Lancelot. Encores!
Encores! is a Tony-honored concert series dedicated to performing rarely heard American musicals, usually with their original orchestrations. Presented by New York City Center since 1994, Encores! has revived shows by Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hart, George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, and Stephen Sondheim, among many others. Encores! was the brainchild of Judith Daykin, who launched the series shortly after becoming Executive Director of City Center in 1992. Besides initiating Encores!, Daykin is credited for turning City Center from a rental hall into a presenting organization. La Jolla Playhouse is a not-for-profit, professional theatre on the campus of the University of California, San Diego. Gateway Playhouse, also known as the Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County is a theatre located on the eastern edge of Bellport, New York on the grounds of the former Mott Estate. The street address is 215 South Country Road. It's the oldest of three professional theatres on the island and nationally recognized as one of the top ten summer theatres in the nation. ''Phantom'' is a musical with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and a book by Arthur Kopit. Based on Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel ''The Phantom of the Opera'', the musical was first presented in Houston, Texas in 1991. Although it has never appeared on Broadway and has been overshadowed by the success of the 1986 Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Yeston and Kopit's ''Phantom'' has received over 1,000 productions.
