Brad Nelson (baseball)
Bradley John Nelson (born December 23, 1982) is a former professional baseball player. He played primarily first baseman, first base and outfielder, outfield in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers. High school Nelson played high school baseball at Bishop Garrigan High School in Algona, Iowa. He was a pitcher and utility infielder. He started varsity halfway through his eighth grade summer and led the team to the state championship game as a sophomore. The team he played on that season continues to hold the state records for most Run (baseball), runs (523), home runs (90), and Run batted in, RBIs (461) in a season; Nelson himself holds the state records for most Hit (baseball), hits (83) and most RBIs (91) in a season. Esteban Germán Guridi (born January 26, 1978) is a Dominican former professional baseball second baseman. Germán played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, and Texas Rangers. Run (baseball)
In baseball, a run is scored when a player advances around first, second and third base and returns safely to home plate, touching the bases in that order, before three outs are recorded and all obligations to reach base safely on batted balls are met or assured. The Midwest League is a Minor League Baseball league established in 1947 and based in the Midwestern United States. A Class A league for most of its history, the league was promoted to High-A as part of Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. The Midwest League began as the Illinois State League (1947–1948) and then became the Mississippi–Ohio Valley League (1949–1955). Pacific Coast League
The Pacific Coast League (PCL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the Western United States. Nashville Sounds
The Nashville Sounds are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Nashville, Tennessee, and are named for the city's association with the music industry, specifically the "Nashville sound", a subgenre of country music which originated in the city and became popular in the mid-1950s. The Huntsville Stars were a Minor League Baseball team that played in Huntsville, Alabama, from 1985 to 2014. The Beloit Sky Carp are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. The Ogden Raptors are an independent baseball team of the Pioneer League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) but is an MLB Partner League. The Arizona Complex League Brewers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Arizona Complex League (ACL) and a Rookie-level affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
