Brad Edwards (journalist)
Brad Edwards (December 31, 1947, in Indiana, Pennsylvania – May 16, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), was a news reporter for television station KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His investigative journalism, through which he mostly represented the city's elderly and working class, made him one of the area's most influential and well-known media personalities. Career Edwards started his broadcasting career in radio in 1961 at WDAD in Indiana, Pennsylvania, at age 14 as a disc jockey and newscaster. Upon graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was recruited by the U.S. Air Force and serve as a military news broadcaster in Thailand. in 1971, he became stationed at Wichita Falls and was hired as a part-time reporter, photographer, and anchor at NBC affiliate KFDX-TV. In 1973 after leaving the service, Brad joined WKY-TV (now KFOR-TV) as a general assignment reporter and photographer, before becoming the station's 10:00PM anchor. Indiana is a borough in and the county seat of Indiana County in the U.S. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. KSTU (channel 13) is a television station in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, affiliated with the Fox network. It is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company alongside Provo-licensed Ion Television owned-and-operated station KUPX-TV (channel 16). KSTU's studios are located on West Amelia Earhart Drive in the northwestern section of Salt Lake City, and its transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains, southwest of Salt Lake City. More than 80 dependent translators carry its signal throughout Utah and portions of neighboring states. KSTU went on the air in 1978 as the first modern independent station in Salt Lake City. Drew Edmondson
William Andrew Edmondson (born October 12, 1946), known as Drew Edmondson, is an American lawyer and politician from the state of Oklahoma. A member of the Democratic Party, Edmondson served as the 16th Attorney General of Oklahoma from 1995 to 2011. Prior to his election as state attorney general, he served as district attorney for Muskogee County, Oklahoma, from 1983 to 1992. He was defeated twice in campaigns for U.S. Congress in Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district, where his father Ed Edmondson served from 1953 to 1973. Edmondson was defeated twice in statewide races for Governor of Oklahoma. In 2010, Edmondson was defeated by Jari Askins in an unsuccessful bid for the Democratic Party nomination for Governor. Following his service as attorney general, he joined the Oklahoma City law office of Riggs Abney. WDAD
WDAD (1450 AM) is a radio station in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. It is owned and operated by Renda Broadcasting. History WDAD was the first radio station in Indiana County, and was one of the first radio stations in the nation granted licenses after World War II had ended. The station has kept its original call letters throughout its history of more than half a century. The WDAD call letters were formerly used by a Nashville radio station which first signed on the air in 1925 and broadcast until sometime in 1927.
