Brad Drake

	Brad Drake Brad Drake (born February 7, 1975) is a Republican politician who is currently serving as Walton County Commissioner, District 3. He was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis on September 7, 2023. He previously served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 5th district, which included Holmes County, Jackson County, Walton County, Washington County, and northern Bay County. He served from 2008 to 2012 and 2014 to 2022. History Drake was born in Fort Walton Beach into a political family, which included his grandfather, J. Troy Peacock, who served as a State Representative; his father, David Earl Drake, who served as Superintendent of Walton County Public Schools; and his cousin, Pat Thomas, who served as the President of the Florida Senate. This district is located in the Florida Panhandle, and encompasses part of the Emerald Coast. The district covers all of Walton County, Holmes County, Washington County, Jackson County, and part of northern Bay County. The largest city in the district is Marianna.
