Brad Davidson
Bradley Davidson (born 17 May 1974) is an Australian basketball coach and former player who is currently an assistant coach on the men's basketball team at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Prior to coaching, he played in Australia's National Basketball League (NBL). Playing career Davidson played for the Townsville Crocodiles, Cairns Taipans, Hunter Pirates, Singapore Slingers, and Adelaide 36ers over thirteen seasons, finishing his career with a 40.1 three-point shooting percentage. He was also a member of the Australia men's national basketball team when they claimed the gold medal in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Coaching career After retiring from playing professional basketball, Davidson was named the head coach of the Premier League's West Adelaide Bearcats, and was also head coach of the Norwood Flames from 2011 to 2013. Big West Conference
The Big West Conference (BWC) is an American collegiate athletic conference whose member institutions participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The conference was originally formed on July 1, 1969, as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA), and in 1988 was renamed the Big West Conference. The conference stopped sponsoring college football after the 2000 season. Among the conference's 11 member institutions, 10 are located in California (with 9 located in Southern California alone) and one is located in Hawaii. The Adelaide 36ers, also known as the Sixers, are an Australian professional men's basketball team in the National Basketball League (NBL). The 36ers are the only team in the league representing the state of South Australia and are based in the state's capital of Adelaide. The club was originally called the Adelaide City Eagles when they joined the NBL in 1982, but changed their name to the 36ers the following year. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Basketball
The Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors basketball team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in NCAA men's competition. (Women's sports teams at the school are known as Rainbow Wahine.) The team currently competes in the Big West Conference after leaving its longtime home of the Western Athletic Conference in July 2012.
