Boys Weekend
''Boys Weekend'' is an Australian cooking television series that originally aired in 2009 on Australia's Network Ten. The 13-part series was hosted by the four Australian-based chefs Gary Mehigan, Manu Feildel, Miguel Maestre and Adrian Richardson, who visit different locations across Australia to sample and cook local produce. The series was sold to more than 100 countries and a DVD of the series was released in 2010. Gary Mehigan
Gary Mehigan (born 12 February 1967) is an English-Australian chef and restaurateur. Mehigan was one of the original judges of the Network 10 series '' MasterChef Australia''. Career Chef Mehigan trained at The Connaught and Le Souffle in London before moving to Melbourne in 1991. He has headed the kitchen in some of Melbourne's most prominent restaurants including Browns, Burnham Beeches Country House and Hotel Sofitel before opening the award-winning Fenix in 2000 and later selling it to the Leonda by the Yarra group in 2013. Miguel Maestre
Miguel Cascales Maestre (born 5 November 1979) is a Spanish-born Australian chef, restaurateur, author and television presenter, who has co-hosted the lifestyle television series ''The Living Room''. Maestre has presented TV programmes ''Miguel's Feast'', ''Miguel's Tropical Kitchen'' and '' Boys Weekend''. He participated in, and won the sixth season of '' I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!'' on Sunday, 2 February 2020. In October 2013, Maestre became an Australian citizen. ''The Living Room'' was an Australian lifestyle program. The show was hosted by Amanda Keller with co-presenters Barry Du Bois, Chris Brown, and Miguel Maestre. The program began airing on Network Ten on 11 May 2012. The show was aired at 7:30 pm every Friday on Network Ten. The show was a quadruple award-winner of the Logie Award for Most Popular Lifestyle Program in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. On 30 November 2019, the program was temporarily axed by Network Ten after 8 seasons, due to cost-cutting measures; however a Christmas special aired on 20 December 2019.
