Boyali
Boyali is a village located in the Central African Republic Prefectures of the Central African Republic, prefecture of Ombella-M'Poko on the road between Boali and Bossembélé. History On 8 January 2014 Séléka withdrew from Boyali. Same day 200 Anti-balaka fighters enter the town killing local Muslims leading to return of Séléka forces which committed another massacre, burning 961 homes. On 22 December 2020 Boyali was captured by rebels from Coalition of Patriots for Change. Government forces recaptured it on 26 January 2021 killing 44 rebels. Ombella-M'Poko
Ombella-M'Poko is one of the 16 prefectures of the Central African Republic. Its capital is Bimbo. One important tourist attraction is the Falls of Baoli; however, due to the Baoli dam, the falls only carry water on the weekends. Bossembélé
Bossembélé is a small town in Yaloke-Bossembele, in the Ombella-M'Poko Prefecture of the Central African Republic, lying 157 miles north west of Bangui on the main road to Cameroon. It is known for its Market (place), market and its Nightlife (activity), nightlife and is home to a movie theater, cinema and an Bossembélé Airport, airstrip. The Lambi Falls lie near the town. History On 23 March 2013 Séléka rebels took control of Bossembélé. On 16 January 2014 anti-balaka entered the town killing 43 people. Séléka CPSK-CPJP-UFDR was an alliance of rebel militia groups that subjugated the Central African Republic (CAR) on 24 March 2013. After its official dissolution in September 2013, the remaining rebel groups became known as Ex-Séléka. Séléka leader Michel Djotodia became the nation's president from March 2013 until his resignation in January 2014. However, some church leaders have contested the claimed exclusively Christian character of such groups.
