''Boy Hits Car'' is a 2001 album by the alternative metal band Boy Hits Car released on Wind-Up Records. It remains their most popular and well-known album, with "I'm A Cloud" being popular, and even making it into the soundtrack of some works in popular culture, such as '' Aggressive Inline'' and The Funimation's in-house English adaptation of '' Dragon Ball Z Lord Slug''. Reception Allmusic.com's Bradley Torreano gave the album two and a half stars. He wrote in his review "The best way to describe Boy Hits Car, the sophomore effort from the band of the same name, is to combine the elements of a few of their contemporaries. ''Aggressive Inline'' is a 2002 sports video game developed by Z-Axis, published by Acclaim Entertainment under their AKA Acclaim label, and released for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube. The game features professional inline skaters, including Chris Edwards, Eito Yasutoko, Franky Morales, Jaren Grob and Taïg Khris. A different game of the same name was developed by Full Fat and released for the Game Boy Advance. Gameplay The gameplay focuses on completing goals given by talking to characters within each level. While some goals involve gaining a certain number of points in a specific time, many of the goals involve doing tricks on and off of pieces of the environment (for example: one level asks the player to grind three traffic lights, each one placed at a larger distance and facing a different direction). Hed PE (also known as (hed) Planet Earth and stylized as (həd) p.e. or as (Hed)pe or (Hed)PE) or (həd) Planetary Evolution, is an American rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1994, the band is known for its eclectic genre-crossing style, predominately in the fusion of gangsta rap and punk rock it has termed "G-punk", but also for its reggae-fused music. System of a Down (also known as SoaD or simply System) is an Armenian-American heavy metal band formed in Glendale, California, in 1994. At the Drive-In was an American post-hardcore band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 1994. The band's most recent line-up consisted of Cedric Bixler-Zavala (vocals), Omar RodrÃguez-López (guitar, vocals), Paul Hinojos (bass), Tony Hajjar (drums) and Keeley Davis (guitar, vocals). After several early line-up changes, the band solidified into a five-piece, consisting of Bixler-Zavala, RodrÃguez-López, Jim Ward, Hinojos and Hajjar. At the Drive-In released three studio albums and five EPs before breaking up in 2001. ''Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug'', also known by its Japanese title , is a 1991 Japanese animated science fiction martial arts film and the fourth ''Dragon Ball Z'' feature film. Boy Hits Car is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, which was formed in 1993. Biography The band was formed in 1993. After releasing their first album, '' My Animal'', independently in 1998, they went on the Sno-Core Tour and recorded their next album, ''Boy Hits Car'', on Wind-up Records. My Animal (1998) is the debut album by American rock band Boy Hits Car. Background In 1995, a Baltimore-based independent label booked Boy Hits Car on their first national tour—six weeks straight performing nearly every night. During this time the band decided that no matter what the cost, they would try to make a lifestyle out of performing their music---music they eventually dubbed 'Lovecore'. BHC continued to write, record and tour until 1997 when they landed a deal with a Texas-based independent label. They recorded their first full-length CD---'My Animal' which was released and distributed in 1998 through NMG music. After only a few weeks, they lost their distribution deal but the band pressed on.
