The Bowling Green Ground was a football ground in Gainsborough in England. It was used as a temporary home ground by Gainsborough Trinity during their time in the Football League. History The Bowling Green Ground was located to the north-west of Gainsborough town centre. Gainsborough is a market town, inland port and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The town population was 20,842 at the 2011 census, and estimated at 23,243 in 2019. Sincil Bank Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as LNER Stadium, is a football stadium in Lincoln, England which has been the home of Lincoln City since 1895. Previously, Lincoln City had played at the nearby John O'Gaunts ground since the club's 1884 inception. The Northolme (known as the Gainsborough Martin & Co. Arena for sponsorship purposes) is a football ground in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England.
