Botanichesky Sad (russian: Ботанический сад) is a station on the Moscow Central Circle of the Moscow Metro The Moscow Metro) is a metro system serving the Russian capital of Moscow as well as the neighbouring cities of Krasnogorsk, Reutov, Lyubertsy and Kotelniki in Moscow Oblast. Opened in 1935 with one line and 13 stations, it was the first .... Construction started on the station in October 2014 and the station opened in September 2016. Name The station is named for the nearby Moscow Botanical Garden. Transfer The station offers free out-of-station transfers to Botanichesky Sad station of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line. Prospekt Mira (Koltsevaya Line)
Prospekt Mira (russian: Проспе́кт Ми́ра) is a station of the Moscow Metro's Koltsevaya line. Opened on 30 January 1952 as part of the second stage of the line, it is a pylon design by architects Vladimir Gelfreykh and Mikhail Minkus. Called initially Botanichesky Sad (Ботанический Сад) after the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University which are located nearby, the theme of this station develops the connotation of the name in the overall colour tone. The arches are faced with flared white marble and are topped with ceramic bas-relief frieze made of floral elements. In the centre are medallion bas-reliefs (work of G.Motovilov) featuring the different aspects in the development of agriculture in the Soviet Union. The station walls are laid with dark red Ural marble and chessboard floor pattern is made of grey and black granite. Botanichniy Sad (Kharkiv Metro)
Botanichnyi Sad ( uk, Ботанічний сад, ) is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Oleksiivska Line. The station is one of two new stations added to the metro system on 21 August 2004, the other one being ''23 Serpnia''. The station is located under the Nauky avenue (formerly the ''Lenin avenue'') in the northern part of Kharkiv's city center. The station's name and architectural design recalls the surrounding botanical garden of the Kharkiv University. History Plans for the construction of the Botanichniy Sad metro station were first drawn out in the mid-90s. At first, dates for the station's opening were set at 1995, then 1996, and later in 1997. However, due to the difficult financial situation, the station was not built, and construction on the station only began in August 2004, during the celebration of the 350-years of Kharkiv.
