Muslims ( Serbo-Croatian Latin and sl, Muslimani, Serbo-Croatian Cyrillic and mk, Муслимани) is a designation for a Serbo-Croatian speaking Muslims, inhabiting mostly the territory of the former Yugoslav republics. The term, adopted in 1971, designates Serbo-Croatian speaking Muslims, thus grouping together a number of distinct South Slavic communities of Islamic ethnocultural tradition. Gorani People
The Gorani (, ) or Goranci (, ), are a Slavic Muslim ethnic group inhabiting the Gora region—the triangle between Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia. They number an estimated 60,000 people, and speak a transitional South Slavic dialect, called '' Goranski''. The vast majority of the Gorani people adhere to Sunni Islam. Name The ethnonym ''Goranci'', meaning "highlanders", is derived from the Slavic toponym '' gora'', which means "hill, mountain". Another autonym of this people is ''Našinci'', which literally means "our people, our ones". In Macedonian sources, the Gorani are sometimes called Torbeši, a term used for Muslim Macedonians. Macedonian Muslims
The Macedonian Muslims ( mk, Македонци-муслимани, Makedonci-muslimani), also known as Muslim Macedonians or ''Torbeši'' ( mk, Торбеши), and in some sources grouped together with Pomaks, are a minority religious group within the community of ethnic Macedonians who are Sunni Muslims (with Sufi influences being widespread among the population). They have been culturally distinct from the majority Orthodox Christian Macedonian community for centuries, and are ethnically and linguistically distinct from the larger Muslim ethnic groups in the greater region of Macedonia: the Albanians, Turks and Romanis. Elvira Rahić (born 1 September 1973) is a Bosnian pop-folk singer. Rahić began her professional music career in 1991 and has since released ten studio albums. She lives in Sarajevo and Vienna. Cedi Osman (born 8 April 1995) is a Turkish professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays the small forward position. Early years Osman was born in Ohrid, Macedonia, modern-day North Macedonia to a Turkish father and a Bosniak mother (from Novi Pazar, Serbia). Adis Jahović ( mk, Адис Јаховиќ, born 18 March 1987) is a Macedonian footballer who plays as a forward for Turkish club Bodrumspor.
