Borut Bilač (born 14 April 1965 in Postojna) is a retired Slovenian long jump The long jump is a track and field event in which athletes combine speed, strength and agility in an attempt to leap as far as possible from a takeoff point. Bilač won the bronze medal at the 1990 European Athletics Championships, representing Yugoslavia, and finished ninth at the 1992 Olympic Games representing Slovenia. His personal best is 8.24 metres, achieved on 5 July 1990 in Cagliari, Italy. Bilač began competing in athletics in primary school. He jumped 6.94 metres in the long jump and 2.02 metres in the high jump as a youth (U-18) athlete in 1982, that year's best U-18 performances in Yugoslavia. Britta Bilač (née Vörös) (born 4 December 1968 in Saalfeld, Thuringia, East Germany) is a retired high jumper who competed internationally for Germany and Slovenia from 1992 onwards. The men's long jump was an event at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. There were 50 participating athletes from 37 nations, with two qualifying groups. The maximum number of athletes per nation had been set at 3 since the 1930 Olympic Congress. The event was won by Carl Lewis of the United States, the nation's third consecutive and 19th overall gold medal in the men's long jump.
