Boris Hoppek
Boris Hoppek (born 1970, in Kreuztal) is a German contemporary artist based in Barcelona. His artistic roots lie in graffiti, but today his work spans painting, photography, video, sculpture and installation art. His work has been used in advertising campaigns as well. Hoppek's trademark is a symmetric oval, which appears in most of his work either alone or in a constellation of three, thus forming a face. He is the creator of The C'Mons, a fictional rock band at the centre of a viral marketing campaign for the fourth-generation Opel Corsa car. Contemporary art is the art of today, produced in the second half of the 20th century or in the 21st century. Graffiti (plural; singular ''graffiti'' or ''graffito'', the latter rarely used except in archeology) is art that is written, painted or drawn on a wall or other surface, usually without permission and within public view. Installation art is an artistic genre of three-dimensional works that are often site-specific and designed to transform the perception of a space. The Opel Corsa is a supermini car engineered and produced by the German automobile manufacturer Opel since 1982. Throughout its existence, it has been sold under a variety of other brands owned by General Motors (most notably Vauxhall, Chevrolet, and Holden) and also spawned various other derivatives. The VIC-20 (known as the VC-20 in Germany and the VIC-1001 in Japan) is an 8-bit home computer that was sold by Commodore Business Machines. The Volkswagen Fox is a subcompact car produced and designed by Volkswagen of Brazil and sold in Latin America from 2003 until 2021 and in Europe from 2005 until 2011, where it was sold as the city car offering. Heliumcowboy Artspace
Alex Diamond is the name of an art project that was initiated in 2004 by the Hamburg artist Jörg Heikhaus (born 29 November 1967 in Cologne). Jörg Heikhaus is also the founder of the gallery 'heliumcowboy' (since 2002) in Hamburg, whose operation was temporarily suspended in 2013 to devote himself better to his own work as an artist. Until 2012, the project was promoted without a direct link to the artist himself, which made it unknown who was behind the pseudonym. The purpose of this secrecy was to perform various self-presentations and explore the extent to which an artist without an explicit identity can establish itself.
