Honduras

Soconusco
Soconusco is a region in the southwest corner of the state of Chiapas in Mexico along its border with Guatemala. It is a narrow strip of land wedged between the Sierra Madre de Chiapas mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Mexico–Guatemala Conflict
In an armed conflict between the countries of Mexico and Guatemala, the Guatemalan Air Force fired upon Mexican civilian fishing boats within Guatemalan territory. Hostilities were set in motion during the presidency of Miguel Ydígoras Fuentes on March 2, 1958.
