Bogdan Aurescu
Bogdan Lucian Aurescu (born 9 September 1973) is a Romanian diplomat serving as the minister of foreign affairs in the Ciucă Cabinet since 25 November 2021. He was Presidential Advisor for Foreign Policy to the President of Romania from May 2016 to November 2019 and Foreign Affairs Minister from November 2014 to November 2015. Previously, he held the position of Secretary of State in the Romanian MFA – Secretary of State for Strategic Affairs (2009–2010, 2012–2014), Secretary of State for European Affairs (2004–2005, 2010–2012) and Secretary of State for Global Affairs (2012). Between 2004 and 2009, Aurescu was his country's chief counsel (Agent of Romania) in the Maritime Delimitation in the Black Sea case, a boundary dispute with Ukraine that Romania brought before the International Court of Justice. Adrian Năstase
Adrian Năstase (; born 22 June 1950) is a Romanian jurist, academic/professor, blogger, and former politician who served as the Prime Minister of Romania from October 2000 to December 2004. He competed in the 2004 presidential election as the Social Democratic Party (PSD) candidate, but was defeated by the centre-right Justice and Truth Alliance (DA) candidate Traian Băsescu who pertained at that time to the Democratic Party (PD). He was the President of the Chamber of Deputies from 21 December 2004 until 15 March 2006, when he resigned due to corruption charges. ''Gândul'' (, "The Thought") is a Romanian online newspaper published in Bucharest. It was founded in May 2005 by Mircea Dinescu, who used to write a daily editorial called "Vorba lu' Dinescu", and Cristian Tudor Popescu, who was also the editor-in-chief until January 2008.
