''Bogan'' () is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Lakshman and produced by Prabhu Deva (Prabhu Deva Studios) and Ganesh. The film stars Arvind Swamy and Jayam Ravi in titular roles, with Hansika Motwani, Akshara Gowda, Nassar, Ponvannan and Naren in supporting roles. The film story is about the body swapping of a honest police officer, Vikram (Jayam Ravi) and a thief with astral projection power, Aditya (Aravind Swami). Featuring music composed by D. Imman, the film began production during March 2016 and released on 2 February 2017 and received positive reviews and become a commercial success. Plot Vikram (Jayam Ravi) is an honest cop who serves as the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Chennai. Lakshman (director)
Lakshman is an Indian film distributor, director and producer who has worked in Tamil language films. He was born in Kokkarayanpettai, Erode district. Career Lakshman made a breakthrough as a film distributor following the success of S. J. Surya's ''New (film), New'' (2004), which he released in the Chengalpet area of Tamil Nadu. He subsequently agreed terms to produce a film starring S. J. Surya in the lead role and the pair initially considered starting a film with Selvaraghavan as director, before finalising Thamizhvannan. The film was initially launched with the title ''36-24-36'', before the makers decided to use ''Kalvanin Kadhali'', with actress Nayanthara and Shradha Arya joining the cast. Varun (actor)
Varun is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil films. He is the grandson of Isari Velan. He was introduced in Anthony's ''Oru Naal Iravil'' (2015), and has since regularly collaborated in ventures involving A. L. Vijay and Prabhu Deva. Career Varun first appeared as an actor by playing the lead role in Sriman's production venture ''Parimala Thiraiarangam'' in 2011, under the stage name of Vikaash. Featuring in an ensemble cast including Kishore, Vivek and Sanusha, as well as Arya in a guest appearance, the film ran into production troubles and did not have a theatrical release.
