Bobby Sharp
Robert Sharp (born September 10, 1988) is an active Canadian professional wrestler, better known by his ring name "Lion Warrior" Bobby Sharp. He is currently working for numerous companies across Canada including Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling, High Impact Wrestling Canada, Monster Pro Wrestling, and Real Canadian Wrestling. Sharp is a Cauliflower Alley Club Future Legend award winner (and the third Canadian to win the award) and a Canadian National Wrestling Association (CNWA) National Champion (2012). Professional wrestling career Bobby Sharp had his first professional wrestling match at the age of 14 in Edmonton, Alberta for Monster Pro Wrestling. He continued his career as the one of the youngest active Canadian Wrestlers in history, and became the youngest Canadian Jr. Heavyweight Champion ever in March, 2005 at age 16. Hart Legacy Wrestling (HLW) is a Canadian professional wrestling promotion operated by some members of the Hart wrestling family, it was founded mainly by Teddy Hart and his associates. Smith Hart was also involved with the promotion prior to his death on July 2, 2017. His long-time partner Stacey Angel is the current owner of the promotion. Bret Hart has no involvement in HLW. Prairie Wrestling Association
The Prairie Wrestling Alliance (PWA, formerly Prairie Wrestling Association) is an independent wrestling promotion based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, since 2001. The PWA is co-owned, operated, and promoted by Kurt Sorochan. Lance Storm is a former booker with the promotion. History The PWA was established in March 2001 by Kurt Sorochan, Tex Gaines, and Hercules Ayala. Their first shows were outside of Edmonton due to the difficulty of getting a promoter's license. Their first show in Edmonton drew over 700 people. In 2003, they put on monthly events, which got mostly good reviews. The following year in 2004, however, they put on fewer shows due to scheduling conflicts. The company relaunched its shows in October 2004 with Night of Champions. HIW Wildside Provincial Championship
The HIW Wildside Provincial Championship was a professional wrestling heavyweight championship in the professional wrestling promotion, High Impact Wrestling Canada. The title was established on April 24, 2004 as the HIW Great Plains Provincial Championship. Michael Allen Richard Clark won the Great Plains Provincial Championship on September 20, 2013, then won the Wildside Provincial Championship on November 22, 2013 in a fatal four-way match to crown the first champion. Upon Clark winning the Wildside Provincial Championship, the Great Plains Provincial Championship was unified with it 24-hours later upon regulation changes. The lineage from the Great Plains Provincial Championship continued to be recognized with both Clark having separate reigns as champion. High Impact Wrestling Canada (HIW) was a professional wrestling promotion, based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Known for its hard hitting "Saskatchewan Style", the HIW roster consisted of nearly 40 regular performers. On January 1, 2019, the company celebrated its 21-year anniversary. This anniversary made High Impact Wrestling one of the oldest continuously active pro-wrestling companies to run in Canada. HIW partnered with Access 7, a TV station in Regina, SK, in January 2014 to begin producing a weekly TV show which aired every Tuesday at 8 pm. John Parsonage (born April 27, 1974) is a Canadian semi-retired professional wrestler, better known by his ring name "Hot Shot" Johnny Devine. Scott Francis D'Amore (born August 8, 1974) is a Canadian retired professional wrestler, manager, promoter, booker and entrepreneur. He is the current Executive Vice President of Impact Wrestling, where he also worked from 2003 to 2010 as an on-screen manager.
