Bob Warn Field At Sycamore Stadium
Sycamore Stadium is a baseball stadium in Terre Haute, Indiana, United States. The venue is used by both the Indiana State Sycamores baseball team of the Missouri Valley Conference and the Terre Haute Rex of the college summer Prospect League. It has a capacity of 2,500 spectators. To date, it has hosted three Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Championships, 1982, 2014 and 2016. It regularly serves as a venue for IHSAA and American Legion Baseball tournaments. Field Since moving into Sycamore Field in 1978, Indiana State University has played over 850 baseball games at home and posted an outstanding record of 586–268–1 (.686). Bob Warn
Bob Warn is a former Indiana State Sycamores baseball coach. While coaching Indiana State University's Baseball team, he led the Sycamores to six Missouri Valley Conference (1979, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1989, 1995) championships, seven NCAA Tournament (1979, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1995) appearances, and a College World Series (1986) appearance while compiling a record of 1,079-745-9 (.591). Five of his teams finished the season ranked in the Top 30 in the country (1979, 1983, 1984, 1986 and 1989) In 2000, he was inducted into the Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame. Indiana State University
Indiana State University (ISU) is a public university in Terre Haute, Indiana. It was founded in 1865 and offers over 100 undergraduate majors and more than 75 graduate and professional programs. Indiana State is classified among "D/PU: Doctoral/Professional Universities". History A seminary building was constructed and later used for Vigo Collegiate Institute.
