Melvin Gray "Bob" Perry (September 14, 1934 – July 2, 2017) was an American professional baseball player who appeared in 131 games over parts of two seasons for the – Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball. An outfielder, Perry was born in New Bern, North Carolina, where he graduated from high school; he threw and batted right-handed, stood tall and weighed . Perry signed with the New York Giants in 1953, but spent a decade in the club's farm system—never reaching the major leagues—until the relocated San Francisco Giants sold his contract to the Angels on May 16, 1963. Along the way, Perry had one season of 30 home runs, and four campaigns of 20 or more long balls. The Angels immediately plugged Perry into their starting lineup at Yankee Stadium on May 17, 1963, and the 28-year-old rookie went one for four against Jim Bouton in a 4–3 loss. Robert 'Bob' Perry (March 17, 1933) is a retired American male tennis player who was active in the 1950s and 1960s. Tennis career Perry started playing tennis in 1944 at age eleven. He won the National 15 and under singles and doubles titles. In 1956 Perry won the doubles title at the French Championships partnering Don Candy. They defeated Ashley Cooper and Lew Hoad Lewis Alan Hoad (23 November 1934 – 3 July 1994) was an Australian tennis player whose career ran from 1950 to 1973. Life and career Johnson worked on a number of highly rated Ghanaian films, often collaborating with the popular director Shirley Frimpong-Manso. He also worked on several television commercials and documentaries. He was well-loved within the acting community and was sometimes called Ghana's best cinematographer. Popularly known as "Bob J," Johnson was educated at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI). Robert H. Perry is a U.S. yacht designer based in Seattle, Washington. Among his designs are some of the most successful cruising yachts in modern cruising such as the Tatoosh 42, Tayana 37 and Valiant 40. Through his career he has designed boats for many well recognized names in the yachting industry, such as Tayana, Cheoy Lee, Valiant, Baba, Ta Shing, Islander, Passport and Saga.
