Bob Gregory (comics)
Robert P. Gregory (October 20, 1921 – December 5, 2003) was an American comics artist and writer best known for writing and drawing hundreds of Gold Key comics starring the Disney comics character Donald Duck. Biography Bob Gregory attended the Otis Art Institute and fought in World War II before working as a technical illustrator for an aircraft manufacturer. He began submitting art sketches to Western Publishing, for which he began freelancing on a steady basis in 1958 — first as a writer, then as a writer-artist both writer and artist — on many of Western's talking animal comics, including the Donald Duck comics produced under license by Dell and Western's Gold Key Comics. Galerie Lambiek is a Dutch comic book store and art gallery in Amsterdam, founded on November 8, 1968 by Kees Kousemaker (, – Bussum, ), though since 2007, his son Boris Kousemaker is the current owner. From 1968 to 2015, it was located in the Kerkstraat, but in November 2015, the store moved to the Koningsstraat 27. As of 2018, Lambiek is the oldest comics store in Europe, and the oldest worldwide still in existence. The name "Lambiek" originated as a misspelling of the name of the comics character Lambik, from the popular Suske & Wiske comic book series created by Belgian artist Willy Vandersteen. Pneumonia is an inflammatory condition of the lung primarily affecting the small air sacs known as alveoli. Daisy Duck
Daisy Duck is a cartoon character created by The Walt Disney Company. As the girlfriend of Donald Duck, she is an anthropomorphic white duck that has large eyelashes and ruffled tail feathers around her lowest region to suggest a skirt. She is often seen wearing a hair bow, blouse, and heeled shoes. Daisy was introduced in the short film ''Mr. Duck Steps Out'' (1940) and was incorporated into Donald's comic stories several months later. Carl Barks, the screenwriter and lead storyboard artist for the film, was inspired by the 1937 short, '' Don Donald'', that featured a Latin character named Donna Duck, to revive the concept of a female counterpart for Donald.
