Boaz Vaadia
Boaz Vaadia (November 13, 1951 – February 25, 2017) was an Israeli–American artist and sculptor who worked primarily in stone and subsequently by casting in bronze. Based in New York City since 1975, his studio is located in Brooklyn. The power of natural materials and the relation of human beings to that power determine the content of Vaadia's sculpture. Vaadia said of his work, "I work with nature as an equal partner. The strongest thing I address is that primal connection of man to earth. Gat Rimon ( he, גַּת רִמּוֹן, ''lit.'' Pomegranate Wine press, press) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Ono Valley in the Sharon plain between Ganei Tikva and Petah Tikva, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In it had a population of . History The moshav was founded in 1926 by workers from Petah Tikva who were children of middle class immigrants of the Fourth Aliyah. It was initially called HaTehiya ( he, התחייה, ''lit.'' Revival), but later took the Bible, Biblical name of , a Levite town in the land of the Tribe of Dan which is mentioned in Book of Joshua, Joshua 19:45.
