Board Of Spokespersons
The Board of Spokespersons is a parliamentary body of the Cortes Generales mainly entrusted with the task of ordering the agenda of the Parliament. As a bicameral legislature, the Cortes Generales are formed by two houses, the Senate of Spain, Senate and the Congress of Deputies. The Board meets every week. Each House possesses its own Board of Spokespersons made up by the Speaker of the House and the Spokespersons of every Parliamentary group (Spain), parliamentary group. In addition, the minority groups without an own parliamentary group are represented by the Spokesperson of the Mixed Group. Cortes Generales
The Cortes Generales (; en, Spanish Parliament, lit=General Courts) are the bicameral legislative chambers of Spain, consisting of the Congress of Deputies (the lower house), and the Senate (the upper house). The Congress of Deputies meets in the Palacio de las Cortes. The Senate meets in the Palacio del Senado. Both are in Madrid. The Cortes are elected through universal, free, equal, direct and secret suffrage, with the exception of some senatorial seats, which are elected indirectly by the legislatures of the autonomous communities. Inés Arrimadas
Inés Arrimadas García (; born 3 July 1981) is a Spanish lawyer and politician serving as Member of the Congress of Deputies and Spokesperson of Citizens party in the Congress. She was previously the leader of the regional branch of the party in Catalonia. In March 2020, she was voted party leader. Arrimadas was born and raised in Jerez de la Frontera.
