Bluebell Records
Bluebell Records was an Italian independent record label active from 1959 to 1969 as part, along with other labels such as Mini Rec and Belldisc, of the Belldisc S.p.A. group. In 1969 these labels were fused into a new one, which became known as Produttori Associati. The label released records by several artists, such as Fabrizio De André, Carmen Villani, The New Dada, Rocco Granata, Maurizio Arcieri and Duilio Del Prete. For many years, the label's head of publicity was Germano Ruscitto, who went on to become director of the music magazine '' Discografia Internazionale''. Catalog There is a chronological incongruence in the numbering of the 33 rpm catalog: after Fabrizio De André's '' Vol. 1°'' (BBLP 39) the numbering starts back from BBLP 30 (De André's following album, '' Tutti morimmo a stento'', is numbered BBLP 32). ''Volume 1'' (''Vol. 1º'') is the second studio release by Italian singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André and his first true studio album. It was first issued in 1967 on Bluebell Records. It is a collection of re-recordings of De André's early singles, previously issued on the Karim label. "Accarezzame" (Neapolitan for "caress me") is a song composed by Nisa and Pino Calvi. The song premiered at the 1954 edition of the , performed by Teddy Reno. Rondine Al Nido
''Rondine al nido'' is a romance and one of the best known works of the Italian composer Vincenzo de Crescenzo, whose music was in the repertoire of Beniamino Gigli, Tito Schipa, Giuseppe Di Stefano, Richard Tucker, Luciano Pavarotti, Luigi Infantino, Ramón Vargas, Robert Dean Smith, Francesco Albanese, among many others. Written by de Crescenzo in the early 20th century (1926), it deals with lost love. While written and performed as a Neapolitan song, but with lyrics in Italian, it is more like an aria of the late Romantic period, demanding of the singer high intensity, high notes, and excellent breath control. Federico Monti Arduini (born 1 December 1940), best known as Il Guardiano del Faro, is an Italian composer, producer and musician. Antonio Lardera (born 30 June 1936), better known by his stage name Tony Dallara, is an Italian former singer, actor and television personality. Biography Dallara was born in Campobasso in southern Italy, but grew up in Milan. After working as barman and clerk, he began his musical career in the band Rocky Mountains (the future group I Campioni); his singing style was inspired, in particular, by American singers such as Frankie Laine and Tony Williams. In 1957, he signed a contract as singer with the Italian label Music, where he was working as delivery man. ''Volume 3'' (''Vol. 3°'') is the third album released by Italian singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André. It was first issued in 1968 on Bluebell Records and is De André's last studio release on Bluebell. Of the songs contained in the album, only four were previously unreleased; the other ones are re-recordings of tracks originally issued on 45-rpm records during De André's early stint with the Karim label. The A-side and B-side are the two sides of phonograph records and cassettes; these terms have often been printed on the labels of two-sided music recordings. The A-side usually features a recording that its artist, producer, or record company intends to be the initial focus of promotional efforts and radio airplay and hopefully become a hit record. The B-side (or "flip-side") is a secondary recording that typically receives less attention, although some B-sides have been as successful as, or more so than, their A-sides. In music, a single is a type of release, typically a song recording of fewer tracks than an LP record or an album. One can be released for sale to the public in a variety of formats. Gramophone Record
A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in. Starting in the 1940s polyvinyl chloride became common, hence the name vinyl. The phonograph record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century. ''Tutti morimmo a stento'' ( is the second album and the third studio release by Fabrizio De André, issued in 1968 by Bluebell Records. The album, whose lyrics are inspired by the poetry of François Villon, is considered one of the first concept albums to be produced in Italy.
