Blu Rum 13
BluRum13 (alternate spellings include Blu Rum 13, BluRum 13, and Blurum 13), born James Sobers, is an American underground rapper, emcee, actor and producer who also uses the pseudonym Killa Platypus. Originally from New York City, he spent most of his formative years in Washington, D.C. and is the great nephew of knighted cricketer Sir Garfield Sobers. Career Solo projects BluRum13’s first album ''The Previouslee Unreleased Recordings of BluRum13'' (not on a label) was the catalyst for subsequent collaborations with London-based DJ Vadim, who included the song ''It’s Obvious'' on his 2002 release ''U.S.S.R. Life From the Other Side'' (Ninjatune, 1990). Killa Kela (born Lee Potter) is a British beatboxer and rapper from West Sussex. Career Killa Kela’s career started in 1997 when he formed a 10 collective strong U.K Hip Hop crew called 360 Physicals; composed of MC’s DJ’s and graffiti artists from across the Southeast of the U.K. Initially a rapper and an MC, after honing his skills later as a beatboxer and vocalist, he was then taken under the wing of DJ Vadim (Ninja Tune/Jazz Fudge) and sent on tour with Vadim and his then live band “The Russian Percussion” alongside various Hip Hop artists of the day, inc. Aquasky
Aquasky is an English electronic group composed of Dave Wallace, Kieron Bailey, and Brent Newitt. Aquaskyat Allmusic In early 1995 they got together to produce their own music. Shortly afterwards they sent a demo tape to Moving Shadow records and the seeds of a musical alliance were sown. The first single 'Dezires / Images' (Shadow 64) was released three months later and remixed by Krust (Shadow 64R). Originally a drum and bass outfit, the trio have also become involved in the breaks scene using the moniker Aquasky vs. Masterblaster to denote their breaks projects. Resin Dogs
Resin Dogs is an Australian hip hop group, formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 1996. Resin Dogs are a loose collective, a cut and paste sample band who use live drums, live bass, and elements of hip hop via turntables and samplers to create all forms of ritual dance sounds. The Resin Dogs consist of Dave Atkins, DJ Katch, Dennis Kudelka, Jonothan Bolt and Tony McCall (both also of Final Days of Autumn), with regular guest appearances in Australia by Hau Latukefu (a.k.a.
