Blu Hydrangea is the stage name of Joshua Cargill (born 15 February 1996), a Northern Irish drag queen from Belfast who is known for competing on the first series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' (2019) and later winning the first season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs the World'' (2022). Career Blu Hydrangea was announced as part of the cast of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' on 21 September 2019 and subsequently finishing in fifth place on the series, being eliminated in the "Thirsty Work" episode, losing the lip sync to fellow contestant Cheryl Hole. Outside of ''Drag Race'', Blu Hydrangea is a well-known make-up queen, part of a band called the Frock Destroyers (with Baga Chipz and Divina de Campo). ''Queens for the Night'' is a British reality television competition that sees a group of celebrities become drag queens. It aired on 5 November 2022 on ITV. It was presented by Lorraine Kelly with Courtney Act, Rob Beckett, Melanie C and Layton Williams serving as judges. The competition was won by ''Coronation Street'' actor Simon Gregson as his drag alter-ego "Bidet Bardot", who performed a comedy performance mentored by Myra DuBois. Format The one-off television special features six celebrities paired with their very own drag mentor as they unleash their drag alter-egos and attempt to master the art of drag. Waze & Odyssey are a British electronic music duo consisting of Serge Santiago and Firas Waez. In 2014, the duo had a top 3 UK chart hit in the UK with their remix of 1994 single " Bump n' Grind".
