Bloody Radio
''Bloody Radio'' is a studio album by American hip hop group Grayskul. It was released on Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2007. "Scarecrow" was released as a single from the album. Background The album sees Onry Ozzborn rapping under the guise of Count Draven and JFK going by the moniker Count Magnus. Production is handled by Coley Cole, Sapient, Smoke, and Mr. Hill, among others. Critical reception Nick Marx of ''Tiny Mix Tapes'' wrote, "Onry and JFK ground their abstractions throughout in a coherent attack on the contemporary hip-hop landscape." He added, "like any artist well-versed in the conventions of horror, the duo knows how to deliver superficial schlock while slipping in a message." Marisa Brown of AllMusic commented that "they're interested in the extremes of human experience, as if they don't really believe what they're saying, but that they like the way it sounds." Grayskul is an American hip hop duo based in Seattle, Washington, consisting of rappers Onry Ozzborn and JFK Ninjaface. Since its formation in 2003, the group has released ten solo albums. The duo often collaborate with artists from the Pacific Northwest hip hop collective Oldominion. History In 2003, Onry Ozzborn and JFK, both members of the Pacific Northwest hip hop collective Oldominion, teamed up with bassist Rob Castro to form Grayskul. They recorded about 55 songs in 8 months at ATB Studios; these would eventually become the albums ''Creature'', ''Thee Adventures!'' and ''Deadlivers''. After opening for Eyedea & Abilities, their music was brought to the attention of Rhymesayers Entertainment. Grayskul's label debut, '' Deadlivers'', was released in 2005. Toni Hill
Toni Hill is a Spanish author. His first novel, ''El verano de los juguetes muertos'' (''The summer of the dead toys''), has had a great success and it has received many excellent reviews. Toni Hill was born in 1966 in Barcelona, Spain. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology. He has worked for over ten years as a literary translator with Random House Mondadori, S.A., a leading Spanish language publisher. John Kenneth Dust (born John Kenneth Dunkin: November 30, 1972), better known by the stage name Pigeon John, is an American rapper based in Los Angeles, California. He is a former member of L.A. Symphony. Early life Pigeon John claims that his stage name was provided by Jesus who was driving around Inglewood: "He hopped out and handed me a dead pigeon. He whispered, 'Please have a good time, you're really bumming me out.' I watched him sink back into the cushioned seats and drive, quickly away. Sean Michael Daley (born September 7, 1972), better known by his stage name Slug, is an American rapper from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Slug is best known as one half of the hip hop group Atmosphere, which he founded with Derek Turner (Spawn). Turner has since left and Anthony Davis (Ant) produces Atmosphere with Slug. In 1995, Slug, in collaboration with Anthony Davis, Musab Saad, and Brent Sayers founded the Minneapolis-based independent hip hop record label Rhymesayers Entertainment. Pretty Girls Make Graves
Pretty Girls Make Graves was a post-punk band formed in Seattle in 2001, named after The Smiths' song of the same name (which itself was named after a quote from Jack Kerouac's ''The Dharma Bums''). Andrea Zollo and Derek Fudesco had played together previously in The Hookers, as well as The Death Wish Kids and Area 51 along with Dann Gallucci, with whom Derek had formed Murder City Devils. Not long before the Murder City Devils disbanded, Derek and Andrea formed Pretty Girls Make Graves along with Jay, Nick and Nathan. They played the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2004. Christian Palko (born May 4, 1973), better known by his stage name Cage, is an American rapper, record producer, and actor from Middletown, New York. With a majority of his career being spent with record labels Definitive Jux and Eastern Conference. He has released six solo albums, in addition to two compilation albums and two EPs. Aside from his solo career, Cage is one of the founders of the underground hip hop supergroup The Weathermen, which was formed in 1999.
