Blood Alone
''Blood Alone'' is a Japanese manga series written by Masayuki Takano, author of ''Boogiepop Dual''. It was originally published as a ''dōjinshi''. The manga ended abruptly in Spring 2014, however the story was concluded in a dōjinshi. Plot Kuroe Kurose is a former vampire hunter, turned private detective and author. He lives in modern-day Yokohama with Misaki Minato, an adolescent girl who has recently been turned into a vampire. Kuroe's investigations often lead him to battle vampires and other undead creatures, sometimes with the support of Higure, a leading figure in the vampire world. Abraham Stoker (8 November 1847 – 20 April 1912) was an Irish author who is celebrated for his 1897 Gothic horror novel '' Dracula''. During his lifetime, he was better known as the personal assistant of actor Sir Henry Irving and business manager of the Lyceum Theatre, which Irving owned. In his early years, Stoker worked as a theatre critic for an Irish newspaper, and wrote stories as well as commentaries.
