Blinddog Smokin'
Blinddog Smokin' is an American funk band. Their original funk music also incorporates roots, rock, blues, gospel and soul stylings. Over two decades they have performed internationally, across America, recorded twelve albums, and produced sixty-one original songs. They have also collaborated with Bobby Rush and Dr. John. History Blinddog Smokin' was formed in 1994 by front man, singer, and harmonica player Carl Gustafson and guitarist Jason Coomes in Laramie, Wyoming. Today the band is composed of drummer Chuck Gullens, bassist Roland Bacon who joined in 2000, keyboardist Mo Beeks who joined in 2009, backup singer Chris White and guitarist, Chalo Ortiz who joined in 2010, backup singer Linda Gustafson who joined in 2011, and finally percussionist/saxophonist, Fabian Antonio Chavez, who came on board in 2015. North Mississippi Allstars is an American blues and southern rock band from Hernando, Mississippi, founded in 1996. Dorothy Ellis (September 24, 1935 – September 1, 2018) was an American blues singer and songwriter, who was inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame in 2011, having been an inductee of the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame in 2004. She was known as Miss Blues and was often billed under that moniker. Ellis performed across eight decades, releasing two singles in her teenage years, including the dirty blues number, " Drill Daddy Drill", and a number of albums later in life. Billy Branch (born William Earl Branch, October 3, 1951) is an American blues harmonica player and singer of Chicago blues. Branch is a three-time Grammy nominee, a retired two-term governor of the Chicago Grammy Chapter, an Emmy Award winner, and a winner of the Addy Award. ''Soul Rebels'' is the second studio album by the Wailers, their first album to be released outside Jamaica. The Wailers approached producer Lee "Scratch" Perry in August 1970 to record an entire album, and the sessions took place at Randy's recording studio (also known as Studio 17) above Randy's Record Mart at 17 North Parade in Kingston, Jamaica, until November. First issued in the UK by Trojan Records in December 1970, the album has since been re-released several times on several different labels. Perry's production is sparse and haunting, only featuring guitar, bass, drums, electronic organs, and vocals with no horns or other embellishments. MarchFourth Marching Band now known as MarchFourth! is an American musical and performance group based in Portland, Oregon. They perform mostly instrumental music, combined with a visual performance by stiltwalkers, acrobatics and hooping. They have toured Germany, The Netherlands, France, British Columbia, China and the United States. MarchFourth performs mostly original works and occasional cover songs. The name derives from the date of the band's creation, March 4, 2003, Fat Tuesday. Within two months of their first show, the local press had already coined a new nickname for the act: M4. MarchFourth consists of a horn section (trombones, trumpets, saxophones), a percussion section, electric bass guitar, and electric guitar as well as stiltwalkers, acrobats and dancers.
