Blind Myself
Blind Myself is a Hungarian metalcore band formed in 1995. History The band was formed by Gabor Molnar and Istvan Torok with an original line up of: Istvan Torok (drums), Gabor Molnar (guitars), and Laszlo Sleisz (bass). In 1996, they recorded their first demo, called ''Blind Yourself'', and had their first nationwide tour. In 1997, they recorded their second demo, ''Horrified by the Sun'', and had their first Sziget Festival appearance on Banan (talent) Stage. In 1998, their first EP, called ''Horrified by the Sun'', was recorded and released by the band itself, distributed by Crossroads Records Hungary (Metal Hammer H 10/10) and their first video for ''Horrified by the Sun'' appeared on TV. That year they also toured in Hungary and performed at the Sziget Festival show. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Vocalists in the genre typically use thrash or scream vocals. Some later metalcore bands combine this with clean singing, often during the chorus. Death growls and gang vocals are common. 1990s metalcore bands were inspired by hardcore while later metalcore bands were inspired by melodic death metal bands like At the Gates and In Flames. Isis (band)
Isis (sometimes stylized ISIS) was an American post-metal band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1997. The band borrowed from and helped to evolve the post-metal sound pioneered by bands such as Neurosis and Godflesh, characterized by lengthy songs focusing on repetition and evolution of structure. Isis's last studio album, ''Wavering Radiant'', was released on May 5, 2009. Isis disbanded in June 2010, just before the release of a split EP with the Melvins. Sick Of It All
Sick of It All is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1986 in Queens, New York City. The band's lineup consists of brothers Lou and Pete Koller on lead vocals and guitars respectively, Armand Majidi on drums, and Craig Setari on bass. Sick of It All is considered a major part of the New York hardcore scene, and by 2020, the band had sold at least half a million records worldwide. Though their 1989 debut album '' Blood, Sweat and No Tears'' was a moderate success, Sick of It All did not achieve commercial success until later albums. After the release of their second album '' Just Look Around'' in 1992, East West Records saw the band's potential and signed them in 1993. Ignite is a melodic hardcore band from Orange County, California. Formed in 1993, their commercial breakthrough album, '' A Place Called Home'', was released in 2000 on TVT Records. Anthrax (American Band)
Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands (along with Overkill and Nuclear Assault) to emerge from the East Coast. The 69 Eyes are a Finnish rock band. It was founded in 1989 in Helsinki by vocalist Jyrki 69 (who also writes the band's lyrics), guitarists Bazie, Timo-Timo and bassist Archzie, joined in 1992 by drummer Jussi 69; the lineup never changed since then. Children of Bodom was a Finnish melodic death metal band from Espoo.
