Blake Hillman
Blake Hillman (born January 26, 1996) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who plays for the Hartford Wolf Pack in the American Hockey League (AHL). Hillman was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round, 173rd overall, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Hillman played two seasons in the USHL with the Dubuque Fighting Saints and Waterloo Black Hawks, before attending the University of Denver. Hillman played three years at the University of Denver where he was a member of the 2017 NCAA Champion Denver Pioneers. Hillman was drafted in the sixth round, 173rd overall, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. At the end of his junior year, Hillman signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Blackhawks on March 27, 2018, and made his NHL debut on March 30, 2018, in a game between the Blackhawks and the Colorado Avalanche. Elk River, Minnesota
Elk River is a city in Sherburne County, Minnesota, United States, approximately 34 miles northwest of Minneapolis. It is situated at the confluence of the Mississippi and Elk Rivers. The population was 25,835 at the 2020 census, making Elk River the second largest city in the Central Minnesota region after St. Cloud. It is the county seat. Goal (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. A goal awards one point to the team attacking the goal scored upon, regardless of which team the player who actually deflected the puck into the goal belongs to (see also own goal). Providence Bruins
The Providence Bruins are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL), and are the primary development team for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). They play at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island. The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a mid-level professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams scattered across the United States and Canada. It is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). The ECHL and the AHL are the only minor leagues recognized by the collective bargaining agreement between the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players' Association, meaning any player signed to an entry-level NHL contract and designated for assignment must report to a club in either the ECHL or the AHL.
