Black Zero
Black Zero is a name shared by two supervillains, two terrorist organizations, one special forces group, and a computer virus that have all appeared in various comic book series published by DC Comics. Original Black Zero supervillain Fictional character biography The original Black Zero appeared Pre-''Crisis'' in ''Superman'' #205 (1968), in a story entitled "The Man Who Destroyed Krypton" written by Otto Binder with artwork by Al Plastino. This Black Zero revealed to Superman that he was a space saboteur who destroyed planets. He had been hired to destroy Krypton, and discovered that the internal stresses which would have destroyed it in any case were dying down, necessitating his involvement to ensure it exploded. In the present day, Black Zero came to Earth, threatening to destroy it as he did Krypton. Supervillain
A supervillain or supercriminal is a variant of the villainous stock character that is commonly found in American comic books, usually possessing superhuman abilities. A supervillain is the antithesis of a superhero. Supervillains are often used as foils to present a daunting challenge to a superhero. In instances where the supervillain does not have superhuman, mystical, or alien powers, the supervillain may possess a genius intellect or a skill set that allows them to draft complex schemes or commit crimes in a way normal humans cannot. Other traits may include megalomania and possession of considerable resources to further their aims. Many supervillains share some typical characteristics of real world dictators, gangsters, mad scientists, trophy hunters, corrupt businesspeople, serial killers, and terrorists, often having an aspiration of world domination. Mike Mignola
Mike Mignola (; born September 16, 1960) is an American comics artist and writer best known for creating ''Hellboy'' for Dark Horse Comics, part of a shared universe of titles including ''B.P.R.D.'', '' Abe Sapien'', '' Lobster Johnson'', '' Witchfinder'' and various spinoffs. He has also created other supernatural and paranormal themed titles for Dark Horse including ''Baltimore'', '' Joe Golem'' and ''The Amazing Screw-On Head''. Bernard Chang
Bernard Chang (born 1972) is a Canadian-American artist/designer best known for his work in the comic book industry and entertainment design. Career Born in Montreal, Quebec, Chang started drawing comics professionally in 1992 while attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York (state), New York on a full scholarship for architecture. Tom Peyer
Tom Peyer (born February 23, 1954) is an American comic book creator and editor. He is known for his 1999 revisioning of Golden Age super-hero Hourman, as well as his work on the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 1990s. An editor at DC Comics/Vertigo from 1987 to 1993, he served as assistant editor on Neil Gaiman's ''Sandman''. Peyer has also worked for Marvel Comics, Wildstorm, and Bongo Comics. With John Layman, he wrote the 2007–2009 ''Tek Jansen'' comic book, based on the Stephen Colbert character. Brainiac 5 (Querl Dox) is a fictional superhero character who exists in the 30th and 31st centuries of the DC Universe. He is from the planet Colu and is a long-standing member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The first live-action version of the character appeared as a regular character in the fifth season and a recurring character in the seventh season of '' Smallville'', played by James Marsters.
