Black Widow (In This Moment Album)
''Black Widow'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band In This Moment. It was released on November 17, 2014, by Atlantic Records, marking the band's major-label debut and first release away from longtime label Century Media Records. ''Black Widow'' is the second and last album to feature drummer Tom Hane, who left the band in March 2016 citing creative and artistic unhappiness. Background After the success of their 2012 album ''Blood'' and a headline tour, In This Moment announced that they were returning to the studio at the end February 2014 to begin working on a follow-up. Lead guitarist Chris Howorth told '' Billboard'' that they were again teaming up with longtime collaborator Kevin Churko, who has produced the band's previous records, and that the sound would continue with the same style as ''Blood''. In This Moment
In This Moment is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Jesse Landry. Their debut album, ''Beautiful Tragedy'', was released in 2007. Their follow up, titled '' The Dream'' was released the following year debuting at number 73 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Maria Brink (born December 18, 1977) is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the frontwoman of the metal band The band has gone on to release seven studio albums and receive four nominations, two from Alternative Press Music Awards, one from Grammy Awards, and one from Loudwire Music Awards. Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk.
