Bjørnar Holmvik
Bjørnar Pettersen Holmvik (born 2 June 1985) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. As a player, Holmvik played as a defender and winger. He is currently head coach at Vidar. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The 2010 Tippeligaen was the 66th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 14 March and ended on 7 November. Rosenborg was the defending champions, having secured their twenty-first league championship in 2009. The 2009 Tippeligaen was the 65th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 15 March and end on 1 November. Stabæk were the defending champions. Odd Grenland, Sandefjord and Start entered as the three promoted teams from the 2008 1. divisjon. They replaced HamKam who were relegated to the 2009 1. divisjon. Overview League expansion This was the first top division seasons where 16 teams were competing on the highest level of Norwegian football since the 1961–62 Hovedserien season. Due to the league expanding from 14 to 16 teams, three teams were promoted from the 1. divisjon at the end of the 2008 season. The 2006 Tippeligaen was the 62nd completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on April 9, 2006 and ended on November 5, 2006. Rosenborg became champions on October 29, with one round to go, by defeating Viking at home. 2005 Norwegian First Division
The 2005 1. divisjon (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football season. The season kicked off on 10 April 2005, and the final round was played on 30 October 2005. Stabæk were promoted to the 2006 Tippeligaen as First Division winners, along with Sandefjord who finished second. Sandefjord will be playing in the top division for the first time while Stabæk return to Tippeligaen after being relegated in 2004. As in previous years, there was a two-legged promotion playoff at the end of the season, between the third-placed team in the 1. divisjon (Moss) and the twelfth-placed team in the Tippeligaen (Molde). Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Each team played 26 games with three points given for wins and one point for a draw. 2021 Norwegian Football Cup
The 2021 Norwegian Football Cup was the 115th season of the Norwegian annual knock-out football tournament. The first round was played on 24 and 25 July 2021 and the tournament ended with the final being held on 1 May 2022. Due to delays at the beginning of the season the first round was moved from April to July, resulting in not being able to finish the tournament in 2021. Three rounds were played in 2021, while the remaining four rounds were played at the beginning of the 2022 season. COVID-19 Pandemic In Norway
The COVID-19 pandemic in Norway has resulted in confirmed cases of COVID-19 and deaths. On 26 February 2020, the virus was confirmed to have spread to Norway. The number of cases increased rapidly during the month of March, prompting a number of legal measures aiming to achieve physical distancing to be introduced on 12 March. The first death attributed to COVID-19 was documented on the same day. Most confirmed cases that were traced to outside Norway were Norwegian tourists returning from Austria and Italy.
