Bitange I Princeze
''Bitange i princeze'' is a situation comedy which aired from 2005 to 2010 on Croatian Radio Television. The series is set in Zagreb, and shows the daily lives of a group of five friends living in two neighbouring apartments, similar to the plot in ''Friends''. However, it contains elements of parody. For instance, as opposed to good relations between the main characters in ''Friends'', the characters of ''Bitange i princeze'' are often fighting and making fun of each other, especially Irena Grobnik (portrayed by Mila Elegović) and Robert "Robi" Kumerle (Rene Bitorajac). Vinko Brešan
Vinko Brešan (; born 3 February 1964) is a Croatian film director who emerged into international renown with three critically acclaimed and award-winning films that, each in its own way, broke some of the perceived taboos of Croatian cinema in the 1990s. Brešan was born in Zagreb to a mother, writer Jelena Godlar-Brešan, who was of part Jewish descent, and famous playwright Ivo Brešan. He studied philosophy and comparative literature at the University of Zagreb, as well as Film and Television Direction at the university's Academy of Dramatic Arts. As a student, he was awarded the Oberhausen debutant prize for his short film ''Naša burza'' ("Our Stock Exchange") in 1988.
