Bingo Night Live
''Bingo Night Live'' is an interactive television programme featuring a free-to-play bingo game, broadcast in the United Kingdom (except in northern and central Scotland) on ITV ( ITV1 and UTV). It aired between 4 June 2008 and 29 November 2008. Background ITV had introduced ITV Play to some criticism, attracting significant negative publicity for the group, initially for the perceived poor quality of the shows provided. More criticism was to come when several British TV companies were caught up in a series of scandals related to the manipulation of phone-in quizzes, and the significant revenues generated from Premium rate telephone numbers. Following investigation by UK regulator Ofcom, the ITV Play channel was axed shortly afterwards but with programmes retained on the ITV Network after midnight. Russell Grant
Russell John Dammerall Grant (born 5 February 1951) is a British astrologer and media personality. He has written several books on astrology, provides syndicated newspaper horoscopes and operates premium rate astrology phone lines. In March 2010, he began offering a "Pet Psychic" service. Anthony Crank
Anthony Scott Crank (born 13 April 1974) is an English television presenter, journalist and actor, probably best known for his work on Channel 4's ''T4 (Channel 4), T4'', MTV and Bingo Night Live on ITV1, and BBC1's ''Holiday''. Education Crank trained at the Oldham Theatre Workshop. Career Crank moved to London aged 23 and found work writing for magazines, ultimately becoming celebrity editor for ''OK!''. Make Your Play
''Make Your Play'' was a live, interactive quiz show, showing in the UK on the ITV Network, from Monday to Saturday, beginning after midnight. The show was launched on Friday 29 September 2006 on ITV and ITV Play. The prizes were greater than usually available on ITV Play (often exceeding £20,000), but as a result of this, callers are usually taken less often. In order to win money, viewers had to either call in at a cost of 75p from a BT landline, or enter through the ITV website. If they were successful, they would have been placed on hold, then transferred live to the studio if they was lucky, where they then went on to deliver their answer. ''Make Your Play'' had given over £3 million. It went over the £3 million mark on 1 July 2007, when a contestant by the name of Mr Joseph Percy said "next day". TV's Naughtiest Blunders
''TV's Naughtiest Blunders'' was an outtakes show, that ran from 19 April 2000 to 28 July 2007 with 39 episodes. It was shown on ITV and produced by Carlton Television (later ITV Productions). The show was narrated by Neil Morrissey (first presented by Steve Penk in the studio) and featured edited out clips and mistakes made by people on TV. The show frequently contained swearing, sexual innuendo and nudity, and because of this it was usually shown late at night. The show sometimes featured deleted out scenes from the news and soaps as well as documentaries and many other TV programmes. From 2004 to 2007, the show consisted of a voiceover and continuous clips, with commentary from Neil Morrissey who took over from Penk. Most of the clips shown on the programme were caused by actors forgetting their lines or not being able to stop laughing at what they have to say. Creature Comforts
''Creature Comforts'' is a British adult stop-motion comedy mockumentary franchise originating in a 1989 British humorous animated short film of the same name. The film matched animated zoo animals with a soundtrack of people talking about their homes, making it appear as if the animals were being interviewed about their living conditions. It was created by Nick Park and Aardman Animations. The film later became the basis of a series of television advertisements for the electricity boards in the United Kingdom, and in 2003, a television series in the same style was released. An American version of the series was also made. Grampian Television
Grampian Television was the original name of the Channel 3 service for the north of Scotland founded in 1961 and now named STV. The northern region's coverage area includes the Northern Isles, Western Isles, Highlands (except Fort William and Lochaber) Grampian, Tayside (except the Kinross area), and parts of north Fife.
