Bindiya Chamkegi
''Bindiya Chamkegi'' is a 1984 Indian hindi film directed by Tarun Dutt, son of the veteran actor & director Guru Dutt. It stars Vinod Mehra, Rekha in lead roles, along with Amjad Khan, Johnny Walker in supporting roles. The music was composed by R. D. Burman. Plot Shalini 'Shalu' lives a wealthy lifestyle with her businessman brother, Shyam Kapoor, and is expected to marry Surajbhan, the son of wealthy Thakursaheb. She would prefer that Shyam got married first so that he can have someone to look after him, but as he was in love with a woman named Maya, who betrayed him, and since then is a heavy drinker, and hates women. When he fails to convince Shalu to marry, he marries a woman named Bindiya and brings her home with him. A thrilled Shalu approves the marriage, and also announces that she would like to give a formal reception for her brother's marriage. Gulshan Nanda (1929 – 16 November 1985) was an Indian novelist and screenwriter. Vinod Mehra
Vinod Mehra (13 February 1945 – 30 October 1990) was an Indian actor in Bollywood, Indian films. He started out as a child actor in the late 1950s before starting his film career as an adult in 1971. He acted in over 100 films from the 1970s through to his death at the age of 45 in 1990. He was also the producer and director of the film ''Gurudev (film), Gurudev'' which was released 3 years after his death. Career Mehra made his debut in the 1958 film ''Raagini (1958 film), Raagini'' as a child artist playing the younger version of the character played by Kishore Kumar. Amjad Khan (12 November 1940 — 27 July 1992) was an Indian actor and film director. He worked in over 132 films in a career spanning nearly twenty years. He was the son of the actor Jayant. He gained popularity for villainous roles in mostly Hindi films, the most famous being Gabbar Singh in the 1975 classic ''Sholay'' and of Dilawar in ''Muqaddar Ka Sikandar'' (1978). Badruddin Jamaluddin Kazi (11 November 1924 – 29 July 2003), better known by his stage name Johnny Walker, was an Indian actor who acted in around 300 films. He was best known for his humorous roles in Indian films, notably being typecasted as a hapless drunkard. Early life When his father lost his job, the family moved to Mumbai. Lalji Pandey (28 October 1930 – 3 September 1997), better known by the pen name of Anjaan, was an Indian lyricist known for his work in Hindi language films.
