Billy Forbes (footballer, Born 1990)
Cadet Billy Forbes (born 13 December 1990) is a Turks and Caicos Islander professional footballer. He scored the game-winning goal in the 2014 Soccer Bowl. Club career Forbes spent his early career with Provopool Celtic and AFC Academy. In 2009, after training with the Vancouver Whitecaps, Forbes won a scholarship with Western Texas College. He also played college soccer for Lubbock Christian University. Forbes played during the summer of 2012 for the Mississippi Brilla of the USL PDL. and in May 2014 he joined San Antonio Scorpions from WV King's Warriors. The San Antonio Scorpions organization ceased operations following the 2015 NASL season. Forbes signed with NASL expansion side Rayo OKC on 28 January 2016. After spending the 2018 season with Phoenix Rising, he returned to San Antonio FC for the 2019 season. Forbes joined USL Championship club Austin Bold FC in January 2020. Providenciales
Providenciales (known locally as Provo) is an island in the northwest Caicos Islands, part of the Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Overseas Territory. The island has an area of and a 2012 Census population of 23,769. Providenciales is the largest island in population, the third largest in area, and is home to a large majority of the population of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The 2015 San Antonio Scorpions FC season was the club's fourth season of existence and its fourth and last season in the North American Soccer League, the second division of the American soccer pyramid. North American Soccer League (2011–2017)
The North American Soccer League (NASL) was a professional men's soccer league based in the United States. The league was named for, but had no connection to, the original North American Soccer League. The later NASL was founded in 2009, and began play in 2011 with eight teams. From 2013 through 2017, the NASL used a split-season schedule running from April to early November, with a four-week break in July. The spring and fall champions, along with the two teams with best combined spring/fall records met in a four-team single-elimination tournament known as ''The Championship''. The winner of the final claimed the Soccer Bowl trophy. The Saint Lucia national football team represents Saint Lucia in men's international football and is administered by the Saint Lucia Football Association, the governing body for football in Saint Lucia. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system.
