The 2014 San Antonio Scorpions FC season is the club's third season of existence, and its third consecutive season in the North American Soccer League, the second division of the American soccer pyramid. Including the San Antonio Thunder soccer franchise of the original NASL, this was the 5th season of professional soccer in San Antonio. The schedule will feature a single round robin format with each team playing every other team in the league a single time. The San Antonio Scorpions were an American professional soccer team based in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 2010, the team made its debut in the North American Soccer League in 2012. The Scorpions played at Toyota Field, a soccer specific stadium that was completed in 2013. The club operated differently from most professional sports clubs in terms of its operating profit. SMU Mustangs Men's Soccer
The SMU Mustangs men's soccer team represents Southern Methodist University in men's college soccer. The team currently competes in The American Athletic Conference. The Mustangs made their most recent appearance in the NCAA National Tournament in 2019, their third consecutive tournament appearance and fourth in five seasons. In 2019 the Mustangs reached their thirteenth Elite Eight before falling to No.1 Seed Virginia 3–2 in overtime. Trinity Tigers
The Trinity Tigers is the nickname for the sports teams of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. They participate in the NCAA's Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). The school mascot is LeeRoy, a Bengal tiger. Wálter Restrepo Uribe (born June 21, 1988) is an American-born Colombian football player. Orlando Esteban Bayona (born November 25, 1983) is a Colombian footballer. Samuel Cruz Garza (born October 17, 1989) is an American soccer player for Denton Diablos FC in the National Premier Soccer League. Early life and education Garza was born on October 17, 1989, in Carrollton, Texas. After his father's job moved him to New Mexico, he returned to Highland Village, Texas, to attend Edward S.
