Sir William Warren (died 1602)
Sir William Warren ( 1602) was an Irish landowner, statesman and soldier of the late sixteenth century. He is mainly remembered now for having facilitated the much-discussed marriage of Hugh O'Neill, Earl of Tyrone and his third wife Mabel Bagenal, which took place at Warren's home, Drumcondra Castle, in 1591.Gibney p.3 Family Warren was the son of Captain Humphrey Warren (died 1561) and Elizabeth Clifford (died 1581).O'Laughlin p.34 His father, a professional soldier of English birth, had come to Ireland in the service of the English Crown in about 1550. Little appears to be known of his family background. He enjoyed the confidence of three successive monarchs, and was a close associate of Thomas Radclyffe, 3rd Earl of Sussex, Lord Deputy of Ireland 1556-1558. William Bond Warren (April 26, 1943 – October 7, 2016) was an American film historian, critic, and one of the leading authorities on science fiction, horror, and fantasy films. Early life and education Warren was born in North Bend, Oregon and grew up in Gardiner on the Umpqua River. He became interested in science fiction films during the genre's first boom period in the 1950s after seeing ''The Day the Earth Stood Still'' (1951). William Whipple Warren
William Whipple Warren (May 27, 1825 – June 1, 1853) was a historian, interpreter, and legislator in the Minnesota Territory. The son of Lyman Marcus Warren, an American fur trader and Mary Cadotte, the Ojibwe-Metis daughter of fur trader Michel Cadotte, he was of Ojibwe and French descent. William lived in two cultures, because his father was white, he was not considered Ojibwe, but an Ojibwe "relative", because in the Ojibwe patrilineal culture, inheritance and property were passed through the paternal line. His mother was Ojibwe and he learned her culture from her family. He is the first historian of the Ojibwe people in the European tradition. In the fall of 1845, Warren moved at the age of 20 from Wisconsin to Crow Wing in present-day Minnesota. William John Finley Warren (December 14, 1873 – 1963) was a farmer, rancher and political figure in Saskatchewan. He represented Thunder Creek in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan from 1921 to 1925 as a Progressive Party member. He was born in Balderson near Perth, Ontario, the son of Richard Warren and Margaret James, and was educated at the Saskatchewan Agricultural College. He settled in Balbeck, Saskatchewan in 1906. In 1911, Warren married Annie M. James. He was president of the Moose Jaw Agricultural Society, of the Saskatchewan Registered Seed Grower's Association and of the Saskatchewan Agricultural Societies' Association. William Warren (1812–1888) was an American actor. For decades he performed with the theatre at the old Boston Museum. Biography Warren was born in Philadelphia on November 17, 1812, the son of actor William Warren and his third wife, Esther Fortune. He was educated at the Franklin Institute, then a boys' school, in that city. After his father's death in 1832, he made his début a week later at the Arch Street Theatre in Philadelphia in the part of '' Young Norval''. His father had been an actor, first in Britain, and began his career on stage with that character. The young Warren first performed in New York City in 1841, in London in 1845, and in Boston in 1846. He played a wide variety of characters, from broad and eccentric comedy to juvenile tragedy, with general acceptance.
