Bill Rennells
Bill Rennells (born 25 July 1931) is an English broadcaster and former journalist, who currently presents ''Harmony Night'' on BBC Radio Oxford. Rennells previously hosted the late night programme ''Nightride'' on BBC Radio 2 for 14 years. Born in Canterbury, Rennells spent 25 years working as a journalist for various newspapers throughout the south of England, these included the Kentish Gazette, Eastbourne Gazette and Oxford Mail. In 1970 he joined the newly formed BBC Radio Oxford as a news producer and then became a freelance presenter on Radio Nottingham. In November 1978 Rennells joined the national broadcaster BBC Radio 2 as presenter of the Thursday edition of the graveyard slot, he also co-hosted the Monday night programme ''Music from the Movies''. In 1980 he began presenting both the Sunday and Thursday graveyard programmes. BBC Radio Berkshire is the BBC's local radio station serving the county of Berkshire. It broadcasts on FM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds studios at Thames Valley Park near Reading. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 109,000 listeners and a 4.2% share as of September 2022. Saga DAB Radio
Saga DAB radio (Saga Radio London Ltd) was a UK digital DAB radio station, supported by Saga Radio Group. The line up featured a variety of presenters including David Hamilton, Don Durbridge, David Allan, Jenny Hanley and Tony Myatt. Music played on the station was easy and melodic from the previous six decades. Presenters and some station resources were shared with PrimeTime Radio. Saga Radio (digital) won Best Digital Terrestrial Station at the 2003 Sony Radio Awards ceremony. Ray Moore (broadcaster)
William Raymond Moore (2 January 1942 – 11 January 1989) was a British broadcaster, best known for hosting the early morning show on BBC Radio 2 between 1982 and 1988. Early life Born in Liverpool, he attended Waterloo Grammar School, and harboured ambitions to be a BBC announcer from an early age. On leaving school, his first job was at Liverpool docks, and he was subsequently a technician and actor with repertory companies in Oldham, Sidmouth and Swansea. Broadcasting career He started broadcasting in 1962 as a continuity announcer with Granada Television, later moving to ATV in Birmingham and eventually the BBC in Manchester and London.
