''Paradise Falls'' is a weekly soap opera television series which aired nationally on the Showcase channel in Canada, starting in 2001. It was filmed in the summer cottage community of Muskoka, Ontario. Like many major soap operas, sex is a dominant component of the storylines, although more explicit in nature. Ruby And The Well
''Ruby and the Well'' is a family fantasy TV show on BYUtv, premiered in America on February 27, 2022. The show features a present-day teenager whose father inherits an orchard in Emerald. This leads to the two moving to Emerald where Ruby discovers a wishing well. Once she makes contact with the wishing well, Ruby becomes the new keeper of the well and must grant the wells wishes so that the town can prosper. Season one (spring 2022) and season two (fall 2022) both contain ten episodes, with season 2 having been picked up before season 1 even debuted. Plot Ruby is a present-day teenager who is forced to move to Emerald after her father, Daniel, inherits an orchard. Bill Macdonald (baseball)
William Paul Macdonald, Jr. (March 28, 1929 – May 4, 1991) was an American professional baseball player, a right-handed pitcher who appeared in 36 Major League games for the 1950 and 1953 Pittsburgh Pirates. Born in Alameda, California, he stood tall and weighed as an active player. Macdonald signed his first professional contract with the Detroit Tigers and spent 1947–48 in their farm system. After winning 15 games during the latter season for the Flint Arrows of the Class A Central League, Macdonald was declared a free agent by Commissioner of Baseball Happy Chandler on October 27, 1948; three months later, he signed with the New Orleans Pelicans, the Pirate affiliate in the Double-A Southern Association.Spink, J.G. Bill MacDonald (7 March 1906 – 24 July 1973) was a former Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). MacDonald played in back to back premierships for the Colts Football Club in the Deniliquin Football Association in 1925 and 1926, prior to playing with Stawell. Bill MacDonald is a Canadian politician. He represented the electoral district of Sackville-Beaver Bank in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1993 to 1998. He was a member of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party. A long time member of Halifax County Council, MacDonald first attempted to enter provincial politics in the 1984 election. He ran in the Sackville riding, but was defeated by New Democrat John Holm, finishing second ahead of Progressive Conservative incumbent Malcolm A. MacKay. MacDonald ran again in 1993, and won the new Sackville-Beaver Bank riding by 856 votes. MacDonald was defeated by New Democrat Rosemary Godin when he ran for re-election in 1998.
