Bill Calcraft
William Joseph Calcraft (born 22 May 1959) is an Australian former rugby union international. Calcraft, born in Sydney, is a nephew of Wallaby Bill Gunther and attended Scots College (Sydney), Scots College, after which he came through the Manly RUFC, Manly colts to feature in the club's 1983 Shute Shield-winning first-grade team. A flanker, Calcraft captained New South Wales on a tour of New Zealand in 1984 and was part of two overseas tours with the Australia national rugby union team, Wallabies that year, but remained uncapped. This included the Grand Slam tour of 1984 Australia rugby union tour of Britain and Ireland, Britain and Ireland, where he played in 10 tour matches and was the captain against Pontypool RFC, Pontypool. His Test debut came the following year against Canada national rugby union team, Canada and he was capped a further two times in 1986. He was Australia's captain at the 1986 Hong Kong Sevens. Surry Hills is an inner-city suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Surry Hills is immediately south-east of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Sydney. Surry Hills is surrounded by the suburbs of Darlinghurst to the north, Chippendale and Haymarket to the west, Moore Park and Paddington to the east and Redfern to the south.
