Bikash Jairu
Bikash Jairu (born 10 November 1990) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Indian Super League club East Bengal and the India national team. Career Jairu hails from Gyalshing, West Sikkim and was spotted during the "Search for more Bhaichungs" scheme launched by the Government of Sikkim and was inducted into the Sports Hostel in Namchi. Later he moved to the Sports Academy of Sikkim at Gangtok and passed out in 2008 grabbing a contract with ONGC. After his stint at ONGC, he moved to Shillong and joined Rangdajied United. After spending a season there he signed for Mumbai Tigers with whom he had a fruitful outing, scoring a number of goals for the team in the 2013 I-League 2nd Division. Gyalshing
Gyalshing or Geyzing is a city, located in Gyalshing district or Geyzing district in the Indian state of Sikkim. It is administrative headquarter of district. The town is connected to the capital Gangtok by a metalled road. Geyzing is also connected to the West Bengal towns of Darjeeling and Kalimpong via Jorethang. A few kilometres north is the town of Pelling. The town has a large Nepali population, and the Nepali language is the predominant language of the region. The Federation Cup (also known as Hero Federation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was an annual knockout football competition in Indian football which started in 1977. From its inception, until I-League was started in 1997 (then called NFL), it was the most prestigious national level club football tournament in India. The 2013 I-League 2nd Division is the sixth season of the league under its current title. The season will begin on 9 March 2013. The original 21 clubs who would participate in the 2nd Division were officially announced on 25 January 2013, however since then 5 more clubs were accepted into the league.
