Big Brother Family
''Big Brother Family'' was the first family edition of the reality show Big Brother in Bulgaria, it was initially referred to as ''Big Brother 5''. It was also the first family season all over the world. The show launched on Nova Television on 22 March 2010 and continued for 3 months (12 weeks), ended on 10 June. This was the shortest regular ''Big Brother'' season in Bulgaria so far, lasted for 81 Days. ''Big Brother Family'' was produced by Niko Tuparev (''Old School Productions''). For the very first time the Housemates consisted of families - married couples or ones with a child. The winning family was Kouzmovi, who won 200,000 leva, an apartment and a car. Also, for the first time the Housemates had salary. This was the first regular season to be held in the spring, instead of a ''VIP-''season. Niki Kanchev
Nikolay "Niki" Kanchev ( bg, Николай Кънчев, or Ники Кънчев) (born 26 December 1960) is a Bulgarian television presenter, famous for hosting the Bulgarian version of ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'' (re-titled to ''Стани богат'' (''Become Rich''), since the award from the start was 100,000 leva, instead of a million) from 2001 to 2014. After he became popular with the show, he was selected as a host of ''Big Brother Bulgaria'' on the same television channel, Nova Television. Montana, Bulgaria
Montana ( bg, Монтана ) is a town in northwestern Bulgaria. It is the administrative centre of the Montana Province. On the 2021 census, it had a population of 36,455. Names When the town was first settled by Slavs it was known as Kutlovitsa; later in Ottoman Turkish as Kutlofça. ''Big Brother 2'' was the second season of the reality show Big Brother in Bulgaria. The show was aired on Nova Television. The show started on 19 September 2005 and ended on 19 December 2005. It was hosted by Niki Kanchev and Evelina Pavlova. The chief editor was Nikolay Nikolov, the director was Petko Spasov and the voice of Big Brother was the actor Petar Meltev. ''Big Brother 4'' was the fourth season of the reality show '' Big Brother'' in Bulgaria. It was aired on Nova Television and Nova+. The show launched on 22 September 2008 and continued for 3 months (12 weeks), ended on 14 December 2008, lasted for total of 84 days which is the shortest regular ''Big Brother'' season so far in Bulgaria. The prize was 300,000 leva, which was the highest in the history of ''Big Brother Bulgaria''. Milen Tsvetkov was the host of the show. Former VIP Brother 2 housemate Veneta Raykova was the host of a new late-night talk-show called ''Little sister''. Rumen Lukanov was the host of the interactive part of the show. The show was aired at 20:00 from Monday to Saturday. Weekly live shows are on Monday and Thursday. And after 22:30 on Sunday. Straldja
Straldzha ( bg, Стралджа ) is a small town in Yambol Province, Southeastern Bulgaria. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Straldzha Municipality. As of December 2016, the town has a population of 6,326 inhabitants. The municipality of Straldzha is home to 12,014 people at the end of 2016: 6,326 of whom live in the city of Straldzha and 5,688 in the villages. ''VIP Brother 3'' was the third season of the celebrity version of the Bulgarian reality television show Big Brother. It was launched on Nova Television on 16 March 2009, and ended on 10 May 2009 with an eleven-hour season finale starting at 3:00 pm and finishing after 1:00 am. This season was confirmed on 31 December 2008 by Niki Kanchev, who returned as a host. He announced that the season would start in March 2009. Later on the same day, Nova Television aired the first promo with the slogan ''Celebrities change destinies''. The show is produced by Niko Tuparev (''Old School Productions'') again. All the money from SMS votes were donated to charity, and there was no cash prize for the winner. Also, this season was longer than the previous two. Primorsko
Primorsko ( bg, Приморско ) is a town and seaside resort in southeastern Bulgaria, capital of homonymous municipality, part of Burgas Province. A well-known resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, it is located 52 km south of Burgas and has a beach strip of about 1 km2.
