''Big Brother Brasil 6'' was the sixth season of ''Big Brother Brasil'' which premiered January 10, 2006 with the season finale airing March 28, 2006 on the Rede Globo television network. The show was produced by Endemol Globo and presented by news reporter Pedro Bial and directed by J.B Oliveira "Boninho". The prize award was R$1,000,000 without tax allowances. The winner was 33-year-old nurse Maria Nilza "Mara" Viana from Porto Seguro, Bahia. General There were fourteen housemates competing for the grand prize. The season lasted 78 days, a decrease of one day over the previous season. The season produced the first ever all-female Final Two and was the only season (to date) that the Final Two housemates are from the same gender. Pedro Bial
Pedro Bial (born March 29, 1958) is a Brazilian television producer, producer, television director, director, writer, journalist and a TV presenter. He is best known for hosting the variety show ''Fantástico'', and the reality show ''Big Brother Brasil'' (the Brazilian version of ''Big Brother (TV series), Big Brother''). Career Bial graduated in journalism from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, PUC-RJ. His career, as a reporter, began at Rede Globo in 1981. In 1988, he started to work for Jornal Hoje and Globo Repórter. He also hosted Rede Globo's live broadcast of Rock in Rio II. Bial was international correspondent for Globo network from 1988 to 1996. He replaced Renato Machado on August 13, 1988. In 1996, he started to host ''Fantástico''. As of 2014, he's been hosting the ''Big Brother Brasil'' for 14 seasons. The fourth season of '' Power Couple'' premiered on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at 10:30 p.m. on RecordTV. The show features thirteen celebrity couples living under one roof and facing extreme challenges that will test how well they really know each other. Each week, a couple will be eliminated until the last couple wins the grand prize. Nicole Bahls & Marcelo Bimbi won the competition with 48.60% of the public vote over Mariana Felício & Daniel Saullo and Clara Maia & André Coelho and took home the R$596.000 prize they accumulated during the show.
