Bhoira
Bhonyara is a village in Vinchhiya Taluka of Rajkot district, Gujarat, India. History During British period, it was under Jasdan State. It derives its name from a cave in the neighbouring hill, where there is also a fort. This is the fort destroyed by Chudasama king Khengara in 12th century, according to bardic tale. Khengara (12th Century King)
Khengara was a Chudasama king of Saurashtra region of western India who reigned in the 12th century. His capital was at Junagadh. He was a contemporary of Jayasimha Siddharaja, the Chaulukya ruler of Anahilapataka. According to bardic tales, he was a son of Navaghana and had succeeded him. Battle with Jayasimha Siddharaja Jayasimha's Dahod inscription (VS 1196/1140 CE) boasts that he imprisoned the king of Saurashtra; this is most probably a reference to his victory over Khengara. In ''Siddha-Haima-Shabdanushasana'', Hemachandra has given two examples of grammar mentioning Jayasimha's victory over Saurashtra. The verses attributed to Ramachandra, disciple Hemachandra, in ''Prabandha-Chintamani'' of Merutunga, Jayasimha is referred as ''Giridurgamalla'', i. e. the "Champion of the Giridurga or Junagadh". Rajkot District
Rajkot district is one of the 33 districts of the Indian state of Gujarat. Located in Saurashtra peninsula, Rajkot city is the administrative headquarters of the district. It is the third-most advanced district in Gujarat and the fourth most populus. Gujarat

Jasdan State
Jasdan State was a princely state in Saurashtra during the British Raj. Its last ruler signed the accession to the Indian Union on 15 February 1948. The capital of the state was in Jasdan town. History Jasdan state was founded in 1665 when Vika Khachar defeated the Khumans of Kherdi. In 1807, after its ruler Vajsur Khachar came to an agreement with the British and the Gaikwar, it became a British protectorate. Later in the 19th century Jasdan became part of the Kathiawar Agency of the Bombay Presidency. Jasdan was the biggest kathi state in British India issuing its own postage stamps.
